Wilful exposure investigation, south Brisbane region

Police are appealing to the public for assistance as part of their investigations into multiple alleged wilful exposure incidents in south Brisbane on October 8.

It will be alleged just after 7pm on October 8, a man approached a woman near Tavistock Street in Oxley, outside a public transport facility, where he exposed himself.

Police investigations led to the arrest of a 34-year-old man on October 12.

He was subsequently charged with an indecent act, using a carriage service to access child abuse material and possessing child exploitation material.

Officers are asking any witnesses or other potential victims to come forward who may have witnessed similar behaviours at other public transport hubs, including at Goodna and Darra that same day, October 8.

The man was wearing a red shirt, black jumper and beige cargo pants.

Anyone with information about the above alleged offending, or who has information about any other offending, is asked to contact police.
