Street corners, bars and restaurants are set to come alive over the King's Birthday long weekend with the sights and sounds of the 8th Mornington Winter Music Festival. From Friday 9 – Sunday 11 June, Mornington will play host to a jam-packed program of live music in over 20 venues and three days of street entertainment.

The festival has received support and funding from the Mornington Peninsula Shire, including a $25,000 Significant Events Grant.

For the first time as part of the festival program, Main Street, Mornington – fromthe Esplanade to the Barkly Street roundabout – will be closed to vehicles on Sunday 11 June. This closure will see Main Street transform into a pedestrian-friendly zone for festival goers, musicians and street performers, including circus acts, stilt walkers and a fire twirler.

This year's event will feature even more local talent across a range of genres, from traditional and modern jazz to blues, soul and more. And with so many bars, restaurants and venues playing host to music acts, there's never been a better time to book your tickets, your tables and support our Mornington community!

Come for a night, stay for the weekend, the Mornington Winter Music Festival has something for everyone.

Shows are selling out, but it's not too late to get your tickets. Visit the festival website to view full venue and street programs.
