Victoria Police are appealing for witnesses following a car crash in Williams Road, Prahran (2 January).
It is understood the crash occurred around 10.15 am on the corner of Erica Street involving a Holden Commodore. The vehicle apparently overtook several cars before the collision.
The ca allegedly drove through a pedestrian crossing at the time.
The offending driver was arrested for conduct endangering life and was released pending summons.
The investigation is ongoing.
