Member for Wollongong, Paul Scully, announcing the funding grants today, said, “One of the best parts of my role as a local MP is working with local community and sporting groups to bring life to long-held dreams of local projects.

“So many of our local community and sporting groups spend so much valuable time organising raffles and sausage sizzles to raise funds for projects, which could take years for them to achieve.

“I’m very pleased to be able to provide a boost to their incredible fundraising efforts by awarding these grants to local sporting and community groups across the Wollongong electorate”, he said.

The Community Building Partnership Program was first established for a NSW Labor Governing in 2010.
