Woman Assaulted In Halls Head - Can You Help

Mandurah Detectives are seeking the public's assistance for information as they investigate the assault of a woman in Halls Head last night, Tuesday 27 January 2026.

About 7.45pm, a 23-year-old woman was walking along the path from the beach to her vehicle parked in the carpark at the end of Calypso Road, when an unknown man exited the bushes next to the path.

The man followed her for a short distance before grabbing her hair and pulling her off the path towards the bushes. The victim was able to break free and ran to her car, with the man following her.

The woman drove straight to a police station and reported the matter.

The offender is described as being aged between 30 and 40 years, of dark complexion, approximately 183cms tall, of large build and with short dark hair. He was wearing a dark coloured t-shirt and black pants.

Detectives urge anyone who was in the area of Halls Head Beach and Calypso Road between 7pm and 8pm, who saw a person matching this description, or any suspicious activity, to contact Crime Stoppers online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au or by calling 1800 333 000. Reports can be made anonymously.
