Woman charged over assault of 92-year-old man in Greystanes

A woman has been charged over the alleged assault of an elderly man at Greystanes last month, NSW Police say.

Just after 3pm on Tuesday 27 November 2018, a 92-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a woman following a parking dispute on Bradman Street.

It’s alleged the woman parked across the man’s driveway and, when he asked her to move the vehicle, she verbally abused him before pushing him to the ground.

The incident was reported to police and officers from Cumberland Police Area Command commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, a 36-year-old woman was arrested at Granville Police Station about 2pm yesterday (Thursday 6 December 2018).

The Greenacre woman has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and intimidation.

She was given bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court on 16 January 2019.
