A woman has been charged after a man was shot at Darlington Point in the state’s south in August, NSW Police say.
About 9.35pm on Saturday 18 August 2018, emergency services were called to Kook Street after reports a man was shot.
When officers from Murrumbidgee Police District arrived, they found a 35-year-old man suffering a gunshot wound to his right buttock.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
The following day, Sunday 19 August 2018, a 28-year-old man was charged with several offences and remains before the court.
Following further inquiries, a 24-year-old woman was arrested after attending Hay Police Station today (Thursday 18 October 2018).
She was charged with principle in the second degree of discharge firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, principle in the second degree of reckless wounding in company and principle in the second degree of fire firearm manner likely to injure persons.
She was refused bail and appeared at Griffith Local Court today (Thursday 18 October 2018).
