Woman charged with drink driving in Aldinga Beach, SA

A woman has been arrested after a crash in Aldinga Beach in the early hours of this morning, according to SA Police.

At 2.30am this morning, police were called to Aldinga Beach after reports a car had collided with a fence.

Police attended the scene and after an enquiry at a nearby home, located the alleged driver. Police will allege the woman became abusive and resisted arrest by police.

The 46-year-old woman from Aldinga Beach was arrested and police will allege she returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.316.

She has been charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest and exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol. She was also issued an immediate loss of license for 12 months.

The woman will appear in the Christies Beach Magistrate Court at a later date.
