Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Seymour this morning.
Investigators have been told a Mazda sedan was headed east along the Goulburn Valley Highway about 8.30am when the car left the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver and only occupant, a 64-year-old woman from Seymour, was taken to hospital with life-threatening-injuries but sadly died.
