A woman has died following a single-vehicle crash on the state’s north coast today, NSW Police say.
About 3.30pm (Wednesday 17 October 2018), emergency services were called to Bangalow Road at Talofa, east of Bangalow, after reports a car had left the road and hit a tree.
The driver and sole occupant died at the scene.
She is yet to be formally identified.
Officers from Tweed/Byron Police District have commenced inquiries into the incident and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
The road will be closed for some time with local traffic diversions in place.
