Woman seriously assaulted in Murray Bridge, South Australia

A woman has been rushed to hospital after being seriously assaulted at Murray Bridge.

Just before 12pm today (Thursday 25 April), patrols and paramedics were called to Rocky Gully Road after a woman had been stabbed by a man known to her.

The 24-year-old victim has been taken to Murray Bridge Hospital in a serious condition and will be airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

The suspect left prior to police arrival and is believed to be travelling in a black 2010 Nissan Nivara utility - S979AHH.
