Woman sexually assaulted at Seaford Meadows, South Australia

Police are seeking information from the Seaford Meadows community after a woman was sexually assaulted in her own home overnight.

Just before 1.30am on Saturday 16 November, a woman was asleep in her Seaford Meadows home which is in the vicinity of Grand Boulevard, when she was woken to an unknown male sexually assaulting her.

The woman chased the male suspect from her house and immediately alerted police.

The victim also discovered a purse, mobile phone and personal items from her home had been stolen.

A search of the area was conducted using a police dog patrol, but the suspect was not located.

He is described as about, 170cms tall, muscular build with short thick hair wearing a dark blue or black t-shirt.

Southern District Police and investigators from the Special Crime Investigation Section are investigating and conducted a door-knock of the area this morning. Anyone with information on the incident including persons or vehicles seen in the Seaford Meadows area overnight is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
