Worrell Reserve public toilet upgrades

The Worrell Reserve public toilets are set to be upgraded as part of a project kicking off in late March.

A new Exeloo type (prefabricated) toilet facility with two gender-neutral fully accessible cubicles will be installed with a façade to compliment the nearby Hills Hub building and surrounding environment.

Council has been working with the Worrell Reserve Committee on this project.

An accessible path from the existing footpath will also be installed as part of the project.

During the closure of the existing toilet, there will be public toilet facilities available for the community at Hills Hub (during operational hours only) and the Emerald Library.

24 hour public toilet access is also available at the Ferres Road and Puffing Billy Place facilities.

Works are expected to be completed by June 2022.
