Wounding Charge, Sunnybank Hills

Inala detectives have charged a man following a wounding incident in Sunnybank Hills this morning, 10 April.

Around 1am, a 24-year-old Sunnybank Hills man allegedly stabbed a 51-year-old Sunnybank Hills man at an Argent Place property.

A crime scene was declared, and the 51-year-old man was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Around 2.35am, police located the 24-year-old man nearby on Halwest Place and took him into custody without incident.

Police will allege the pair were known to each other.

The 24-year-old man has since been charged with one count of wounding.

His police bail was refused, and he is expected to appear before Richlands Magistrates Court this morning, 10 April.

Investigations remain ongoing.
