Police have charged a 21-year-old Park Avenue man following two wounding incidents and an assault at Frenchville yesterday afternoon, 14 October.
It will be alleged around 1.40pm, the 21-year-old man approached a 41-year-old man along Simpson Street before punching him in the face and threatening him with a knife.
The 41-year-old man sustained minor physical injuries.
Around 1.50pm, police and emergency services were called to a Clifton Street address following reports two men had been stabbed.
It will be alleged the 21-year-old man entered a Clifton Street premises and approached a 21-year-old man who was seated, before stabbing him.
The 21-year-old sustained minor lacerations to his neck and side.
The man then allegedly walked outside into the carpark and approached a 39-year-old man also stabbing him and causing an injury to his neck.
The 39-year-old man was transported to Rockhampton Base Hospital with serious injuries and later transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital.
In all of the incidents the man was not known to any of the victims.
A 21-year-old man from Park Avenue was arrested a short time later and has been charged with three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, and wilful damage.
He is due to appear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court today, 15 October.
Investigations are ongoing.
