The Yamba Community Improvement District (YCID) Steering Committee is excited to announce an upcoming information session and warmly invites all Yamba businesses and community organisations to participate.
The Yamba CID Pilot Program, which is funded by the NSW Government and delivered by Clarence Valley Council, is designed to transform the Yamba CBD through initiatives that enhance public spaces, foster community engagement, and facilitate exciting events.
During this information session, we will cover:
- What a Community Improvement District (CID) Pilot Program is
- The critical role of local businesses and community engagement
- Planned streetscape upgrades and beautification projects in the Yamba CBD
- The Yamba Birdsong Event & Activities and how your community organisation or CBD business can get involved
The Yamba CID Program is supported by a dedicated steering committee that includes representatives from various community organisations and stakeholders. This collaborative group comprises the Clarence Valley Council, Bike Shop Yamba, Yamba Chamber of Commerce, Yamba Cinema, Yamba Farmers & Producers Market, Yamba Museum, Yamba River Markets, and Yamba Rotary.
