Toowoomba Region Sports Precinct

Residents are invited to have their say on future upgrades that are proposed for Cranley Escarpment Park, Cranley in north-west Toowoomba starting from today (Tuesday, October 7) to Monday, November 3, 2025.

Toowoomba Regional Council Mayor, Cr Geoff McDonald, said improvement works had been scheduled to meet Local Recreation Park standards.

"Cranley Escarpment Park is a large remnant bushland reserve covering almost 45 hectares," Mayor McDonald said.

"It is a key recreation and open space providing interesting bushwalking trails and plays an important role in maintaining local biodiversity.

"Upgrades to the park will be made to meet Local Recreation Park standards and include minor embellishments to enhance opportunities for social interaction, play and casual recreation experiences."

The community is encouraged to share ideas by completing a survey on Council's Your Say website, phoning Council or sending written feedback to Council before consultation closes on Monday, November 3, 2025.

Pop-up sessions have been scheduled from 4-6pm on Friday, October 10 and 8-10am on Saturday, October 11, 2025, to provide park users with a face-to-face feedback opportunity.

The community will be able to review and comment on the draft master plan in early 2026.
