Youth Programs This Spring

Wyndham City's Youth Services has a range of programs, activities and support services across multiple locations in Wyndham to suit young people aged between 12 and 25 who live, work or study in Wyndham.

In the last quarter Youth Services delivered more than 200 programs attended by 6,049 young people!

Wyndham City's Mayor Cr Mia Shaw said: "Youth Services support Wyndham's young people on their journey to adulthood."

"The friendly Youth Services team operates out of five locations across Wyndham as well as pop-up locations."

"It's a dedicated and fabulous service that supports young people to feel connected to our community. There are so many ways young people can get involved, attending programs, events, activities and for young people wanting to participate in the community and make a difference there are youth leadership opportunities including, youth committees and volunteering." said Cr Shaw.

Wyndham City and Paradox Amplify's annual Battle of the Bands final event brings together local bands and solo artists battling it out for the coveted 2025 title! Heats are on 20 and 21 September and the final event on Saturday 4 October from 6pm to 10pm at Youth Services Hoppers Crossing.

Bump Baby and Beyond and program is a free service that is offered to pregnant young women up to the age of 25 and offers a safe space that provides opportunities for social connection and personal development skills through recreational activities at Youth Services Hoppers Crossing. The program runs every Wednesday from 11am to 1pm during the school term, 27 August to 15 October (except the first week of term).

Young people between 12-17 years are encouraged to come along to Drop In at Youth Services Point Cook on Mondays during the school term between 3.30pm and 5.30pm and hang out in a safe space; flex your gaming skills, chill, unwind and chat if you want.

The Creative Corner at Youth Services Truganina on Mondays in September from 3.30pm to 5.30pm is a free inclusive learning environment for young people from different school to come together, be creative and create projects and learn a variety of skills.

The Job-Ready Wardrobe operates out of Youth Services Hoppers Crossing and provides professional workwear for young people attending job interviews or starting new employment.
