There's something for young parents too - a relaxed sensory play session with their little ones exploring textures, colours, and sounds in a calm and friendly space at Cessnock Youth Centre from 10am-11am on 23 April.
And for those who love culinary delights, a pizza-making workshop will be held at Cessnock Youth Centre from 3:30pm-5pm on 23 April.
Cessnock City Mayor Daniel Watton encouraged the community to make the most of the exciting program of events.
"This year's Youth Week will be a chance to celebrate the passions, creativity, interests and diversity of young people living, working and studying across Cessnock LGA," said Clr Watton.
"Investing in our young people is investing in our future, and through art, music, sports, and community projects we can empower those young people to express themselves in a fun and constructive way, and actively participate in our community."
Cessnock LGA's Youth Week 2026 activities are proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Council. The program of events was created in consultation with Cessnock Youth Ambassadors and the 2026 Youth Week Planning Group consisting of young people, local services, businesses, schools, volunteers and community groups.
