Youths Charged Over Armed Robbery At Howrah Bottle Shop

Two youths have been charged in relation to an alleged armed robbery at a bottle shop in Howrah about 7.40pm last night.

Police will allege the youths entered the bottle shop and stole a quantity of alcohol. During the incident the youths allegedly assaulted the staff member, and one of them threatened the worker while in possession of a knife.

A 15-year-old youth has been charged with stealing with force, common assault, and unlawful possession of property.

A second 15-year-old has been charged with common assault.

The third youth taken into custody was released without charge.

The staff member was not seriously injured in the incident.
