Zero Tolerance: Woman Nabbed on Drug Charges

As stated by Detective Sergeant Glen Lindup, Nelson Bays Organised Crime Unit:

Police have arrested and charged a person in relation to importing and supplying class B drugs in the Nelson area.

Nelson Bays Organised Crime Unit, with the assistance of staff from the Police Prevention Team, the Nelson Criminal Investigations Branch, and Customs, executed a search warrant at a Redwood Valley address today, in relation to the importation and supply of GBL.

As a result, a 36-year-old woman was arrested. She is due in Nelson District Court on 15 June, charged with importing GBL, possession of GBL for supply, and possession of methamphetamine.

Police and Customs have no tolerance for this type of offending, and we continue to collaborate and investigate the importation and supply of illicit drugs and substances in the Nelson area.
