New funding will deliver 14 additional projects and boost four existing initiatives across communities to improve child wellbeing and school readiness.
Families in four Western Australian communities will get better access to early learning and health support under a $10.45 million investment aimed at giving children the best start in life.
Fourteen new projects have been funded as part of the Cook Labor Government and Minderoo Foundation's Early Years Partnership (EYP) helping children arrive at school ready to learn with practical support for parents and carers in Armadale West, Central Great Southern, Derby and Bidyadanga.
Transport will be a key focus, with new solutions in each community to help families reach early learning programs and child development services.
In Derby, refurbishments to early years infrastructure in Mowanjum and Pandanus Park will create stronger foundations for learning close to home.
Families in Bidyadanga will benefit from improved accommodation for visiting service providers, making it easier for specialists to deliver care in the community.
Regional communities will also see targeted investment in children's dental and ear health, critical to development and learning.
In Armadale West, coordination funding will strengthen the community's Early Years Hubs project, helping families navigate services and access place-based supports.
EYP Project Director Michelle Duke said the changes will be felt in everyday moments such as families and children being better supported to attend health appointments and finding safe, welcoming places for children to learn and play.
"All families want the best start for their child, no matter where they live," she said.
"This investment is about removing barriers so families can access the services they need, when they need them."
For parents, that means more support to get them where they need to go, stronger community connections and increased opportunities for children to grow, learn and succeed.
The funding includes $5 million from the State Budget and $5.45 million from the Minderoo Foundation bringing the total investment in the partnership to more than $45 million, supporting a total 38 projects across the four communities.
The Early Years Partnership is a decade-long collaboration as part of the Cook Labor Government's broader commitment to building strong, thriving communities across Western Australia.
