10th Anniversary LIFT LID Walk For Mental Health - Ambassador: Triple P Parenting Founder Matthew Sanders Interview/segment Opportunity

Australian Rotary Health
On Sunday October 19th, 2025 Mooloolaba Rotary will host around 600 locals for their 10th Anniversary, LIFT THE LID WALK for Mental Health.
The walk was founded by Mooloolaba local and then Australian Rotary Health representative Vicki Stewart with the desire to reduce the stigma attached to mental illness and raise funds for Australian Rotary Health (ARH) who have been one of the largest independent funders of mental health research in our country for more than 40 years. It has evolved into a national series, raised over $500,000 so far and will be conducted in 40 locations across Australia in the coming year, hosted by local Rotary Clubs and their volunteer army of members.
Over the years ARH funding dedicated to research has supported world leading home grown programs such as Triple P Parenting, The BRAVE Program, Cool Kids and Teen Mental Health First Aid.
In 2023 the ARH narrowed their research focus to children aged 0-12.
This year's 10th Anniversary Ambassador in Mooloolaba is local and founder of the Triple P Parenting Program, Matthew Sanders, Professor of Parenting Studies and family Psychology, Parenting and Family Support Centre, The University of Queensland.
The walk coincides with the launch of Triple P's newest initiative, a FREE program designed to support Australian parents in their efforts to manage the fallout with their children of the new under 16 social media bans set for Dec 10th.
We have both Prof. Matt Sanders and founder Vicki Stewart
