
Council approved 11 applications for funding totalling $18,279 under Round Two of the 2025/26 Council Community Strengthening Grants Scheme as recommended by the Community Grant Funding Committee.
The recipients approved for funding were:

| Leeton Business Chamber | $1,950 for structured business development/networking events |
| Leeton Connect Inc | $1,850 for capacity building initiative comprising two workshops and three informal café style meet and greet sessions |
| Leeton Men's Shed | $2,000 for purchase of security cameras |
| Leeton Show Society | $2,000 for purchase of safety loading & unloading ramp, safety runway and sheep panels |
| Riverina Stage Play | $1,700 for "Trunk or Treat" event at McCaughey Park |
| St Vincents De Paul | $2,000 for provision of hygiene kits to community members |
| Western Riverina Arts Inc | $1,000 for costs associated with the short film "Nganhayung Galingabangbur", in particular the hiring of a scissor lift |
| Yanco All-Servicemen's Club Ltd | $779 for purchase of new upright gas stove for volunteers and community groups |
"The community groups supported through this round of Community Strengthening Grants have presented a diverse mix of initiatives that Council is proud to get behind," said Councillor and Community Grant Funding Committee member Sandra Nardi.
"From arts and cultural events and community workshops to sporting equipment, volunteer support, and important safety and security upgrades, these projects reflect the strength, resilience and vibrancy of Leeton Shire's community organisations and the valuable role they play in bringing people together."
