3D Printers And Firearm Blueprints Seized

A man will face court today charged with manufacturing firearms.

Youth and Street Gangs Task Force and Eastern District Detectives conducted searches of an Adelaide home and allegedly located 3D printers, a USB containing blueprints for printing firearms and several items suspected to be printed firearm parts.

On Saturday 27 June, a 35-year-old man from Adelaide was charged with manufacturing a firearm, possessing digital blueprints, possessing a prohibited firearm accessory, and possessing a prohibited firearm part. He was refused bail and appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today.
