Funding announced to support Flood Recovery in Cabonne.
The NSW Government has announced $50m to support flood recovery across Central West NSW.
After nearly 12-months of lobbying government for additional funding support, this is a very welcome announcement.
The NSW Government funding will include support for housing, community assets, and infrastructure.
Whilst the details are still a little unknown, this is a positive step forward in helping to support community recovery following the November 2022 flood event.
Council will is looking forward to working closely with the NSW Government to ensure that the roll out of this funding will directly support our impacted communities and property owners.
