54-year-old charged by Gangs Task Force - Humpty Doo

Detectives from the Northern Territory Police Gangs Task Force have arrested and charged a 54-year-old male today following the execution of a search warrant at a Humpty Doo property.

Targeting the Darwin chapter of the Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, the man, believed to be an associate, was found in possession of a trafficable quantity of amphetamines and a sum of cash, Northern Territory Police say

He was later charged with possession of a trafficable quantity of a Schedule 1 dangerous drug, supply a Schedule 1 dangerous drug and possess property from proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail and will appear in court at a later date.

"We will continue to target these organised crime groups in an effort to stop the supply of dangerous drugs into the Northern Territory," said Detective Sergeant Evan Kelly of the Organised Crime Division.
