Franklin Tuitt, vice president and chief diversity officer of UConn's Office for Diversity and Inclusion, sits down to talk about his new role and expectations for the program. A Boston native of Caribbean descent, Tuitt began in July after more than 15 years at the University of Denver. He hopes the recent, heightened attention to issues of diversity will help his office better engage UConn students, faculty, and the larger alumni network.
