A playful future for Tolhurst/Osborne Reserve

Mount Martha families will be excited to learn the Tolhurst/Osborne Reserve playground is getting a major makeover this year.

The improved playground will feature a new play combination unit, a new and retained swing set, bench seats and picnic tables, sensory planting and a new access path, providing hours of fun for local families and the community overall.

The old playground has already been removed in preparation for works to start.

Works are scheduled to start later in the year and be completed in December –perfect timing for the summer school holidays!

Quote attributable to Briars Ward Councillors Mayor Despi O'Connor, Steve Holland and Anthony Marsh:

"Due to its age and condition, the Tolhurst/Osborne Reserve playground was identified as a playground for renewal in our Playspace Strategy.

"A new playground brings out the excitement in every little kid and we can't wait to see plenty of little ones enjoying the improved playground later this year."
