Adoption of Amendments to The Hills Development Control Plan (DCP) 2012 relating to the Planning Proposal at 14-16 Brookhollow Avenue, Norwest (2/2021/PLP)

At its meeting on 11 October 2022, Council resolved to adopt amendments to The Hills Development Control Plan 2012 to guide future built form outcomes at 14-16 Brookhollow Avenue, Norwest.

The amendments introduce a new site-specific section of the DCP in association with a planning proposal (2/2021/PLP) to facilitate a 6 to 10 storey commercial development at 14- 16 Brookhollow Avenue, Norwest.

The new site-specific section of the DCP will establish controls relating to built form, setbacks, landscaping, public domain, pedestrian amenity, solar access, overshadowing and parking to guide future development on the land.

The DCP also applies a maximum parking rate of 1 space per 75m2 of commercial gross floor area and a minimum car parking rate of 1 space per 100m2 of commercial gross floor area to the site.

The amendments to the DCP will come into force on the date that the associated planning proposal (2/2021/PLP) is notified on the NSW Legislation Website.
