Aggravated Armed Robbery - Pearsall

Joondalup Detectives have charged two men following an alleged armed robbery that occurred in Pearsall on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.
About 11.40pm, police conducting proactive patrols in the area observed an altercation between three males on Wanneroo Road near the intersection of East Road.
Officers stopped and spoke with one of the males, who alleged he had alighted from a bus before being approached by two men unknown to him, assaulted and threatened with a knife, before having cash and property stolen.
One of the men was immediately arrested at the scene and taken into custody. The second man fled on foot but was arrested a short time later, located approximately 100 metres away hiding behind a business premises on East Road.
A 43-year-old man from Wanneroo and a 34-year-old man from Newman have both been charged with one count of 'Aggravated Armed Robbery'.
Both men were refused bail and are due to appear before the Joondalup Magistrates Court on Thursday, 16 April 2026.
