Aggravated robbery at Mawson lakes, South Australia

Police are investigating an aggravated robbery which occurred overnight at Mawson Lakes.

Just before 11pm on Saturday 13 November, a man approached the victim in the Salisbury Highway service station car park, armed with a knife and beer bottle. The man assaulted the victim with the beer bottle, stole his mobile phone and attempted to steal his wallet.

The victim, a 20-year-old man from Oakden sustained lacerations to his head and was taken to Modbury Hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as being Caucasian, about 170cm tall, medium build with shaggy brown hair and wearing a light hooded jumper. He left the service station left in an older model light blue hatch back with three other occupants in the vehicle.

A search of the area failed to locate the suspect and vehicle with investigations are continuing.
