Police are investigating the aggravated robbery of a 66 year old male from New Norfolk which occurred at approximately 7.10pm on Sunday evening.
The male was walking on Charles Street New Norfolk when he was approached by two male suspects on a motorbike who threatened and assaulted the male before stealing his mobile phone.
The male was treated at the scene by Tas Ambulance and his injuries were of minor nature.
Police are reviewing CCTV from businesses in the area to identify the suspects.
