AHA Named One of America's Best Employers by Forbes 2023

American Heart Association

The American Heart Association, a global force for healthier lives for all, has been recognized on the Forbes list of America's Best Employers 2023. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista Inc., a statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list was announced on February 15, 2023 and may currently be viewed on the website.

Forbes and Statista selected the America's Best Employers 2023 through an independent survey applied to a sample of approximately 45,000 American employees working for companies with more than 1,000 employees in America. Across 25 industry sectors, 1000 employers have been awarded, 500 large employers and 500 midsize employers. The evaluation was based on direct and indirect recommendations from employees that were asked to rate their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. Employee evaluations also included other employers in their respective industries that stood out either positively or negatively.

Based on the results of the survey, the Association was recognized among America's Best Midsize Employers ranging from 1,000 to 5,000 U.S. employees.

"The American Heart Association is proud to be recognized by Forbes as one of America's Best Employers for 2023," said Chief Executive Officer Nancy Brown. "Providing a supportive, engaging and inclusive workplace for our people is important to us and vital to our mission of building longer, healthier lives for all."

For nearly 100 years, the American Heart Association has led the fight against heart disease and stroke and helped families and communities thrive. Other recent recognitions for the Association include Diversity Inc. Top Regional Company, Certified Age-Friendly Employer and National Organization on Disability Leading Disability Employer.
