Albany Housing Supply and Social Housing Boost

The Cook Government today announced a boost to Albany's land supply, with the release of the first 20 residential lots at Oyster Harbour, Bayonet Head, as part of Stage 9.

Construction of the lots is planned to commence later this year and will provide a total of 46 residential lots, including seven lots dedicated to social housing.

The lots range in size from 510 square metres to 752 square metres and are priced from $285,000, providing options for a range of purchasers.

Civil works is expected to commence in May 2026, with titles expected to be available in December 2026, allowing purchasers time to plan their builds.

The remaining 19 lots are planned to be released later this year to ensure a steady and sustainable supply of land to the market.

In addition, DevelopmentWA is progressing the delivery of more than 190 residential lots at Clydesdale Park Estate, McKail to further support ongoing land supply, local employment, and the regional economy in the coming years.
