Allens has advised Jardine Matheson, an Asia-Pacific focused diversified investment company listed on the London Stock Exchange, on its agreement to acquire a 100% interest in I-MED Radiology Network for a total enterprise value of $3.4 billion.

I-MED is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and teleradiology services across Australia, New Zealand and the United States, performing millions of patient procedures annually.

Allens advised Jardines on all aspects of the transaction, working closely with international counsel including alliance partner Linklaters as well as Chapman Tripp and Cooley.

Partner and Private Capital Sector Leader Emin Altiparmak said, 'This transaction represents a significant milestone for Jardines as it enters the Australian market through an impressive healthcare platform. We're proud to be supporting Jardines to help realise this exciting opportunity.'

Partner Joshua Hoare said, 'This transaction reflects the consistent appeal of Australian healthcare assets to global financial investors. As a long-term investor in high quality assets across Asia-Pacific, it is no surprise that Jardines would be drawn to I-MED. We congratulate all involved.'
