Alstonville's Pearces Creek Road Sees Footpath Upgrade, Traffic Shifts

Ballina Shire Council's crews will be upgrading a section of footpath along Pearces Creek Road, Alstonville, with work expected to commence from Monday 11 September 2023.

Stage 1 of the upgrade will extend along the eastern side of Pearces Creek Road, from the intersection with Bugden Avenue (near the tennis courts) working towards the Alstonville Adventist Aged Care Facility.

The upgrade will take 3-4 weeks to complete (weather and site conditions permitting).

During this time Pearces Creek Road will be reduced to one lane with mobile traffic lights in place during work hours, 7am – 3pm, Monday to Friday.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time. Council thanks residents for their patience and understanding during this essential upgrade.

This upgrade has been funded under the NSW Government's Stronger Country Communities Fund.
