About The Study: The study suggests that the COVID-19 pandemic was associated with higher gestational weight gain (GWG) and higher risk of excessive GWG among individuals pregnant with one child, especially those individuals younger than 25 years, non-Hispanic Black individuals, unmarried individuals, individuals with obesity before pregnancy, and individuals with Medicaid to pay for delivery.
