Anglesea River opening

Surf Coast Shire Council will open the mouth of the Anglesea River on Monday 14 September to prevent localised flooding in the area.

The decision was made in consultation with the Corangamite CMA, taking into consideration relative economic, social and environmental impacts.

Water levels will continue to be monitored after the opening.
