Our Annual Report lets us share the progress we've made towards our community's vision for a sustainable and inclusive community.
Here's a look at what we've achieved in the 2024-25 financial year:
- 1,994 new trees were planted
- 57,741 tonnes of material was collected from kerbsides bins and 40,640 tonnes were diverted from landfill
- More than 16,000 lineal metres of roads were resurfaced and over 3,000 metres of drains were built
- 972,000 visits were made to our libraries and over 2,081,000 loans recorded
- 373 arts and cultural events were delivered or supported
- 180 groups received Council community grants, totalling $2,871,646
- 29,506 hours of support was provided to older people to help them stay active in our community
- 4,025 children were supported by Boroondara Maternal and Child Health services
- 14,912 visits were made to youth programs or services
- $33.78 million was invested in infrastructure projects and $6.86 million in parks, open spaces and streetscapes
- 71,862 visitors to Your Say Boroondara, our consultation website.
