Police are appealing for information and dashcam footage following a two-vehicle crash in Sydney's west.
About 10.30pm on Friday 18 September 2026, emergency services were called to the Great Western Highway near the intersection of Rupertswood Road, following reports of a crash involving a silver sedan and a white SUV.
On arrival, officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command were told a passenger of the sedan - a 16-year-old girl - had been thrown from the vehicle after the collision.
She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to hospital in a stable condition.
The driver of the sedan - a 17-year-old male - and another passenger - a 16-year-old girl - were not injured.
The driver was subjected to roadside tests which returned negative results.
The driver of the white SUV - a 30-year-old man - was not injured, and returned negative results to testing also.
Police have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
