About 6.55pm, a red and black Harley Davidson motorcycle and a white Toyota Corolla hatchback collided on Great Southern Highway near the intersection of Greenhill Road North.
The rider of the motorcycle, a 42-year-old man, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, a 62-year-old man, was injured and conveyed to Katanning Hospital for assessment.
