Appointments to CADB announced

The Albanese Government has today appointed Ms Inge Kindermann as the part‑time Deputy Chairperson to the Companies Auditors Disciplinary Board (CADB) and Ms Naomi Rule and Mr Tony Marks as business members to the CADB each for a three‑year period.

The CADB is a disciplinary body that, among other functions, receives and reviews applications made to it by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority in respect of the conduct of registered company auditors.

Ms Kindermann is currently the Head of Legal, Lending Services at ANZ Banking Group and has extensive experience in restructuring, corporations, and insolvency law.

Ms Rule is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Seeing Machines and Non‑Executive Director at the Clark Group. Ms Rule has experience in areas related to corporate and business‑level reporting.

Mr Marks is currently the Head of Operations and Company Secretary at Medicines Australia and has experience in corporate accounting, financial management and auditing.

These appointments will continue providing the high level of skills and experience available to the CADB, to help ensure that the key sectors of our economy are effectively regulated.
