Armed robberies with violencein Brisbane region

Police are investigating a series of potentially linked armed robberies across Brisbane this morning.

Around 3.30am two men entered a Sandgate Road, Clayfield business before threatening a male attendant with a firearm and demanding money from the register. The men forced the attendant into a storage area and stole money from the register along with his personal belongings.

The men fled in a stolen 2015 Dark Gray Nissan Navarra with Queensland registration plates 22LRB.

Then around 6.20am two men approached a female attendant at the rear of a Kenrose Street, Carina business, forcing her inside at gunpoint and demanding money from the register and her personal belongings. She complied and they fled in the stolen utility.

Around 6.45am a man and a woman, described as Aboriginal in appearance approached a woman in the driveway of a Darcy Road, Camp Hill residence demanding her personal belongings at gunpoint and punching her in the arm when she refused to comply. They fled in the same vehicle.

Investigators are appealing for witnesses to come forward, particularly those with CCTV or dashcam vision. Anyone with information about the incidents can also make anonymous reports to police.
