Armed robbery with violence, Little Mountain

Police are investigating following the armed robbery of a business in Little Mountain last night, Friday April 7.

Around 10:45pm a man entered a Parklands Boulevard business armed with a metal pole and made demands for money and cigarettes from the male attendant who complied.

The man struck the attendant about the head with the pole and fled the store on foot with a sum of money and cigarettes.

The victim sustained minor injuries to the head and was transported to hospital.

Police are appealing for public assistance to identify the man, who is described as Caucasian, approximately 180cm tall with a proportionate build and was wearing a dark blue hoodie, black pants and grey runners.
