Midland Detectives have charged a 59 year old man as a result of their extensive investigation into allegations of child sexual abuse at group homes in Doubleview and Darlington.
It will be alleged between 1998 and 2000 the man sexually assaulted two girls and one boy who were aged between eight and 10 years of age at the time of the first offence, WA Police say.
During the above times the man was employed by the Department of Child Protection at the Doubleview Group Home and Darlington Hostel.
The man from Midvale has been charged with:-
•Nine counts of Sexual Penetration of a Child under 13 years; and
•Five counts of Indecently Deals with a Child under 13 years of age.
He is due to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court today, Friday 30 June 2017.
