Arrest, High Wycombe incident, WA

Yesterday (20 November 2018), Midland Detectives apprehended a man as a result of their investigation into an incident at a house in Newburn Road in High Wycombe on 17 November 2018, in which a number of shots were fired.

As part of their investigation, Midland Detectives executed a search warrant on a residence in Eighth Ave Maylands on 20 November 2018 and it will be alleged during the search police located and seized a Walther.22 repeater pistol, ammunition and a mobile phone jammer, WA Police say.

A 24-year-old man from Bayswater is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today (21 November 2018),charged with:-

•Endanger Life/Health/Safety of a Person;

•Unlawful act or omission with intent to harm (endangering life, health or safety of any person);

•Possess Firearm with Circumstances of Aggravation;

•Unlicensed Person Possess Ammunition;

•Possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property; and

•Breach of Bail.
