Just before 6pm last night (23 June), it is alleged four offenders attended a residence on Kent Street in East Victoria Park and at least two of them were armed with firearms.
It is further alleged a male occupant of the home was threatened with a gun aimed at his head and a firearm was discharged inside the premises.
A 38-year-old male occupant of the residence was assaulted by the offenders, receiving facial injuries. He was treated at Royal Perth Hospital and released.
Gang Crime Squad detectives seized a firearm at the scene and have charged two men and a woman in relation to this incident and they are all due to appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today, 24 June 2021.
A 37-year-old man from Joondalup, a Comanchero OMCG member was charged with:-
• Aggravated Burglary and Commit;
• Aggravated Possession of Unlicensed Firearm; and
• Act or Omission Causing Bodily Harm or Danger.
A 31-year-old man from Inglewood, and a 29-year-old woman from Connolly, both Comanchero OMCG Associates were charged with:-
• Aggravated Burglary and Commit; and
• Act or Omission Causing Bodily Harm or Danger.
The investigation is ongoing in relation to the fourth offender.
