Global law firm Ashurst has advised a syndicate of lenders on the $830 million portfolio financing of Potentia Energy's national portfolio of wind, solar and hybrid battery energy storage system (BESS) assets.
The portfolio comprises more than 600 MW across five operational solar projects (Bungala One Solar Farm, Bungala Two Solar Farm, Royalla Solar Farm, Girgarre Solar Farm and Cohuna Solar Farm), the Flat Rocks Stage 1 wind farm, and the Quorn Park Solar and BESS Project, which is currently under construction.
The lender group comprised Westpac Banking Corporation, Bank of China, BNP Paribas (Australia Branch), HSBC (Sydney Branch), Mizuho Bank Ltd, Société Générale and SMBC.
