Global law firm Ashurst Perkins Coie is advising Tritax Big Box REIT plc (the Company) on its successful equity issue, raising gross proceeds of approximately £350 million by way of a non-pre-emptive placing with existing institutional shareholders and others investors (where Jefferies International Limited, J.P. Morgan Securities plc, which conducts its UK investment banking activities as J.P. Morgan Cazenove and Banco Santander, S.A. acted as Joint Bookrunners), a retail offer via RetailBook and subscriptions by directors and PDMRs. Pursuant to the equity issue, the Company issued 213,414,634 new ordinary shares at a placing price of 164 pence per share.
The equity issue is conditional upon the passing of a resolution at a general meeting of the Company expected on or around 24 August 2026. Subject to shareholder approval, admission of the new ordinary shares to trading on the London Stock Exchange's Main Market is expected to become effective on or around 26 August 2026. The proceeds from the equity issue will be used to unlock the Company's enlarged pipeline of data centre development opportunities and enhance financial flexibility to pursue additional logistics acquisition and development opportunities.
